The only downside would be that the ruffle seams may not match up cleanly at the hem, but since the seams are on the inside of the legs, it won't show too much :) Jodellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14104792378592599428noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1081536911532256300.post-42836267709191935672013-09-21T05:22:36.593-05:002013-09-21T05:22:36.593-05:00Awesome! In addition to the two 4"x42" pieces that you cut for the main ruffle, also cut two 3"x42" rectangles to use for the top ruffle. First, hem one long side of each top ruffle. Then layer the 3" and 4" together with the 3"x42" rectangle on top. Baste along the top unfinished edge and gather. then proceed to step 3 of the tutorial.Jodellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14104792378592599428noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1081536911532256300.post-83623506514767295392013-09-20T15:25:15.134-05:002013-09-20T15:25:15.134-05:00What about adding another tier of ruffle making it...What about adding another tier of ruffle making it a double ruffle. As for yardage, 2/3 yard is a generous amount, so 1/2 yard would be enough for the smaller size(but still use 1/4 yard for the ruffle).Jodellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14104792378592599428noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1081536911532256300.post-32966507121979479592013-07-23T13:05:01.471-05:002013-07-23T13:05:01.471-05:00how much fabric do I need for 18 months ruffle pa...how much fabric do I need for 18 months ruffle pants? and how can I make It with your 2t pattern ? thank you Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1081536911532256300.post-13097885350370939382013-07-17T13:50:09.254-05:002013-07-17T13:50:09.254-05:00Thanks for the pattern and tutorial!!!
